Now that more and more people are being vaccinated, the CDC has loosened many restrictions, however, productions are still (rightfully) playing it safe in many aspects.
For example, while mask mandates have loosened for vaccinated individuals, masks are still required on set until further notice. Covid tests and pre-screenings also remain necessary, particularly for interior shoots and larger crews.
In the midst of the pandemic, I completed an OSHA-certified course (certificate below) to better educate myself on how to ensure a safe and clean set, and I continue to monitor the information from our public health institutions and implement those guidelines. But please note that I am NOT a Covid Compliance Officer (CCO), which is its own separate position.
I highly recommend hiring a dedicated CCO to ensure that best practices are applied on set.
